i took my chorus final!!! yayz. so simple.

 

BUT before i left for school, i played TWO HOURS of burnout revenge. TWO HOURS. lol. that was crazy fun.

 

anyways, only about half an hour of chorus left, then my english final. no clue what to expect.........  *sigh*

ONE MORE HALF DAY UNTIL SCHOOL'S OUT FOR THE SUMMER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! sooooo can't wait!

anyways, today i had my FOT and drama finals.
FOT was easy as all get out. i finished somewhere around 20 minutes before lunch (and we had 25 minutes after lunch) and proceeded to get the ABC song stuck in my head... *shoots self* BUT we had pizza. that was soooooo good.
and my drama final was... NONEXISTENT!! yayz. he had told us that we were gonna have to write an essay comparing and contrasting The Blind Side and Invincible, but we DIDNT. instead we watched Bourne Identity. good movie. :D

i ♥ mimes

they are so awesome and fun and silly and loud and crazy and just AWESOME! :D

so this morning was the performance at camp chapel UMC. that was...interesting. the stage was oddly shaped. yeah, it was rectuangular, which is normal. but whats NOT normal is for the longer length to be the depth, and the shorter to be the width. that definitely exercised our beginners in the "ya gotta work with whatcha got" category... lol!

so my new exclamatory phrase is "oh, futterwacken" THANK YOU SANDY!! lol.

working on homework today, probably. idk what else im gonna do.

the concert was freakishly awesome!

ok, so the concert was sooooooooo much funn!!!!!! i love mime concerts. probably better than i like musicals, which is saying something. lol.
after the concert i went to coldstone with christine, erin, hannah, lindsey (spelling?), danielle, olivia, maria, mitchell, michael, ben, johnathan, mark, jerry, blake, and a whole bunch of other people i either didn't know or didn't see. including adults. bascially, we took over coldstone.
and we sang happy birthday to four people, then a little girl walked by and said "happy birthday!" just completely randomly. that was pretty funny.

anyways, last night, i finally got my heart in the right spot, and then he came close to screwing it up. again. *sigh* oh well! its still where it needs to be, thank goodness. im glad i finally got that straight. AND i did it without ruining my white face!!!! :D

off to sandy's party soon (running errands first.) SOOOOO PSYCHED!!!!

we went outside today in biology. :D that was amazing. i was wearing my maroon warriors sweats, my black innovo t-shirt and my black jacket. i was the perfect temperature :)

an update on ians trip:
so far, theyve had an AWFUL start to their vacation.
they missed their connecting flight out of san francisco, and his mom lost her driver's license in the airport. so, if you could pray for them and for safe travels, that would be great.

We got to watch Finding Nemo in chorus today!!! :D I love that movie.

farenheit was NO. PROBLEM. even to me, who has the very special ability to psych herself out to over the top panic mode the second i see something that makes me nervous.

experiments

SO, Christine slept over last night :D That was fun.

And what would a good sleepover be without some kind of baking/cooking experiment? So we tried to make cookie dough. Should be easy, right? WRONG.
We mistook the confectioners sugar for flour, and put almost 2.5 cups in our cookie dough before we realized it... Oops!
So we tasted it... EW!
Then we added flour to see if it would be any better. It wasn't.
So we decided to try and bake it/microwave it/freeze it.
Baking--
The first batch, we weren't sure if there was enough baking soda. So, instead of waiting like we should have, we decided to dump a LOT more in. Needless to say, we didn't need it. So the second batch rose a lot. The only thing is... they both sunk. And caramelized. On the pan. That was hard to clean up.
Microwave--
Christine decided to microwave the "dough". Fail. Epically. It caramelized as well, except it was a little more disgusting than the "cookies".
Freezer--
Finally, we decided to try and freeze part of the "cookies". By the time we remembered that we put it in the freezer (after we had fully cleaned up) we were way beyond grossed out. So, that went in the trash can.

We had a piece of bread and chips for dinner, because anything else would have made us sick. We're still not hungry, still feeling sick, and have decided to post pictures soon.

we started working on our statues. my statue for Wisdom is HARD! i have to work on that a lot. and it hurts my back.
BUT, erin and i got to create our mourning statue for Lazarus. IM SO PSYCHED THAT MR.J IS DOING LAZARUS!!!!!!!! :D

anyways, when i got home i talked to autumn, outside, sitting on the wet grass. i had to go change shorts... :(
then i started talking with christine
and ian.
and playing solitaire.

ok, so i realize i didn't post yesterday. but i have a slightly legitimate excuse.

i was waiting to post until after graduation, because my day before that wasn't all that great, but my stomach hurt so bad when i got home i just went upstairs, took ibuprofen and went to bed.

SO, graduation last night was...
wonderful,
sad,
happy,
and HOT. it was like 1000 degrees in the gym for the reception!!! :/

BUT i didn't cry while we were singing, and i got to watch all of the seniors walk :)
afterwards, we went to the gym for refreshments, and TONS of pictures. i took of my shoes and walked around barefoot :D that was really nice
then after refreshments/pictures, we stayed at the school so ians family could give him his graduation presents. afterwards, we walked to HdG UMC to return the wheelchair ian's uncle had borrowed.
by the time we got to his house, my dad was gonna be there in about 5 minutes to pick me up. but he decided he was gonna try and teach me to play pool. which didn't really work, because my stomach started hurting REALLY bad. like, cramps bad. so all i ended up doing was sitting on the sofa until my dad got there. then i walked out to the car really quickly and curled up on the front seat.

so then i got home and collapsed into bed.

today was... okay. at best. but i will have more to say about that later (*coughcough*mime*coughcough*) lol.

short classes

so today was the senior awards assembly, which was sad.
BUT the bonus was that most of my classes were only a little over half an hour long :D
and i finished my paper last night and turned it in today. :D
and im going over to ians house tomorrow night after graduation to celebrate with his family. i cant believe hes going to HAWAII. jealous. lol

yesterday=goofing and getting distracted from my paper, dancing in the rain, sleeping in the car, then driving for three hours--into and out of a storm while listening to Praise You in this Storm by Casting Crowns :D so cool.

today:
school :( i now have an extra 7-ish inches to my left whenever i go to my locker.
got home, had a foregin coke, then settled in to finish my paper.
at 4:30-ish, i took a 20 minute break to bounce on the trampoline with my brother... IN THE RAIN :D that was amazingly awesome. (will post pics once i get them on my computer... lol)
finished my paper around 10 after 6, and am now chillin'.
GLEE tonight! YAYZZ!!!!!!

Memorial Day Weekend

so, yes, i realize that i haven't posted since thursday. sorry!

BUT, ive been busy, and trying to avoid things that will equal a long distraction (aka blogging)
sooo on friday i got home from school, packed, then drove for three hours to pick up jessica, then head to my aunts house. we got there at 9-ish, and i stayed up until around 10 or 1030, just talking with mom and aunt laurie. then i went to bed, but i couldn't fall asleep, so i worked on my spanish homework, starting at like 11, ending at 1130.

then yesterday, i got up, had a YUMMY breakfast of eggs and sausage, and started working on my paper. i worked on the most of afternoon, then we left around 4 to run some errands, then went to dinner at this bar/restaurant called Toast. it wasn't that good... too fancy for my taste. we went out for ice cream afterwards, and got back around 9-ish, so i finished my spanish homework, then stayed up on the laptop/watching tv until around midnight.

today was kinda similar, except i slept until 11. but i worked on my paper most of the day (thank you katie for editing!!) at around 530, i went outside to help aunt laurie garden...it was SO ridiculously hot out! we came in around 730 to clean up, ate dinner at 8, then around 9 we went to bruster's for ice cream. DELICIOUS! i had birthday cake. soooooo good :D
and now im home, staying up late, watching tv, and, obviously, on the laptop :D

instead of my normal closing...

today was wonderful!
i was NOT in a bad mood
homeroom was kind of stressful, but i got over it quickly :)
spanish was great--im sitting up front again! i know, wierd, but i can't see in the back b/c im behind a bunch of tall people
english was sooooooo much funn!!! i finished reading our book (Gentlemen and Players, Joanna Harris) and mrs. cummins told me she would fail me for the year (!!!) if i told anyone. so im being good. but i can still talk about the book :D its soooooooooooooooooo good. read it.
in chorus we sang it takes a village a couple of times then talked :) i love just talking in chorus. its a ton of fun.
mark called me during english. so i called him back after school and i was like 'i dont get out until 2.' and he was like 'ooohhh yyeeaahhh...im a college student, and we already got out. i keep forgetting that you guys aren't out yet.' and i was thinking 'gee, thanks.'
lol.
today is just a happy day :D

the next day: watched Les Mis last night!!!!! very good movie, and the first time ive watched it all the way through :D
then i got home and watched Glee!!!!!!!! :D:D:D:D monumental episode last night. it was insanely good. do you all watch glee? if not, you should. its amazing. :D:D:D:D:D

long day + distractions = no post

anyways, i was working on english homework for at least half the night. we had to answer five questions, and my responses were around 100 words each. the last one was the hardest, because i got major writer's block.
then i had to do my spanish homework.
and for at least half of that time, i was talking on the phone. which didn't help much.

ANYWAYS
drama yesterday was... eh. the duets were REALLY funny, but i was in a really bad mood. but then i went to euro and ate a cookie and rested for a few minutes here and there (we were watching a movie) and went home and i felt better. :D

so that's what happened yesterday...
OH YEAH! i also made pudding :) but it doesn't taste very good :( and i had a conversation with katie on facebook. that was fun :) until i insulted her hair. then she got upset :( but i apologized, so i hope it makes it better :)

so when my brother woke up this morning his hair was all funky, and it wouldn't comb down. it was an insane case of bed head.

AND i had first lunch.
AND there was a fire drill during FOT.

AND ian's coming over Saturday morning so I can help him study for his chapter 9 make up test... may i just say, FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!
hes been havin' issues since SECOND QUARTER!
and now, a week and a half before his last day, he FINALLY starts actively trying to get help (most likely because if he doesn't graduate, his parents won't take him to Hawaii... pretty major incentive, id say!)
