post-kayaking

sooo..... we ran bloomington today. thats usually a pretty fun river. it wasn't as cold as usual :D
but AFTERWARDS we went to a bar/restaurant place,
and i had a really good grilled cheese yumm.
and we listened to funn songs (thanks to one of the kayakers there)
and ive re-established abt a thousand times that mitchell's a dork.
and i saw a really cool vainty license plate-- MUNKEYS
it made me laugh
and i drove for about two hours this morning. around hairpin turns :(
BUT i drove for two hours.
and... :gasp: stuff im learning at drivers ed is STICKING!!! i know, shocking!!!

kayaking trips

I didn't think this would actually make it on my *happy* blog, but here it is!
we paddled the Gunpowder Gorge today, which is a pretty fun run, especially when you do it all the time.
the water level was a little low, but no big deal.
i ran it with mom in the back of my duck, and that was sooooo cool!! we think similarly, so not that much communication has to happen b/c we're so in sync. of course, that also spoils me, but w/e!
anyways, i used these awesome new dry pants!! they have feet attached at the bottom, like socks kind of, and NO RUBBER GASKETS ANYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was amazingly comfortable.
i also had new shoes and new glove liners. the shoes fit perfectly :D and the glove liners are made of polypropolene (...supposedly fake fleece, but nothing similar). anyways, they were awesome. i used just those on my hands in VERY cold water, and pretty cold weather and it was perfect. my hands were just the right temperature. :D so yay for new gear!
Easter is tomorrow. a great time to remember what Christ did for us, and His insanely *chill* sacrifice (lol Christine).
